Language: English This publication accompanies an exhibition of new and recent sculptures and films by Roman Signer at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. Although almost all of the works in the exhibition were made after 2000, they ar presented in the context of "Installation" 2006, which incorporates films made as far back as 1975, two years after Signer first started making art. The exhibition and the publication provide a snapshot of Signer's current preoccupations and an insight into the themes and ideas that have inspired him throughout his long career.
