Produktbeschreibung
Two photographic books are presented together here that were produced as part of the ‘Get Lost’ project – which aimed to connect social and spatial themes relevant to the city with each other. Enghoff’s project saw the photographer documenting a walk that she took almost everyday from Copenhagen Central Station to Heaven Express – a shelter for homeless people. In her publication, the passage of her journey is captured, accompanied by an archive of found objects, details and moments, in what forms a strong associative documentary journey. Kent Klich’s equally powerful body of work presents 12 portraits of homeless people sleeping, which were subsequently shown in locations where the homeless used to move around or dwell in Copenhagen. Both the portraits and their specific placement within various parts of the city are explored here. Very small cut on cover.
